In this task we had to create an image which shows the student from photo A and the lecture from photo B. to create the image I simply used the polygonal lasso tool and cut around the lectures head in photo B then I right clicked and chose layer via copy. Then I duplicated layer one and paste it in photo A and used free transform to place the head in the right position. photo 1 is the one I created I reckon it looks quite real.

there has been a huge impact on news reporters lives with the presencs of technology. with the developments of digital media technology and the world wide web our world is producing news reports way faster and we are also able to get the latest news. Digital imaging, equipment, desktop and online software that provide extensive features and communication technologies, have all impacted on the way in which news is reported.
despite the fact there has been some advantages and disadvantages. there has been greater advantages than disadvantages.Internet has had a great impact on journalists lives. with internet the foremost target of internet has always been the communication and internet has excelled beyond the expectations .Still innovations are going on to make it faster, more reliable. By the advent of computer’s Internet, our earth has reduced and has attained the form of a global village. by using the internet jurnalisits get the latest news to us.
However there are some disadvantages that has a great impact on journalists. in now days journalists are using blogs more often to get their information but we should aslo consider that not all the information on blogs are true. Some of the blogs are based on the situation of people on that country for example since the war between Iraq and USA lots of poeple created blogs and most of them created fake facts to inform people that in what kind of situation iraqis are living in which might be not true.

The Worldis producing news reports way faster and we are also able to get the latest news .new equipments such as computers, digital camera, online software and other and other information technology equipment have all impacted on the way in which news is reported
in my opinion I think my poster looks apealing to its target audience becuase i have used large text writings and diagrams to make my poster look more intresting. i also intervied a student from diploma of commerce and she shared her exprince so that way the poster would look more intresting.for my background i used grey colour because black looks better on grey and makes it easier to read. I chose red for the title box because red is an effective colour. i also put the canning college logo to symbolise the school.

1-In my opinion The picture has been completely distorted. It is clear to see that the soldier was not pointing his gun at the people, he was infact trying to tell the victims to take cover from Iraqui gun fire. The way that the photographer has manipulted the photo shows the total opposite. I dont think that it is acceptable for journalist to digitally manipulate news photographs, I beleive the story should be told as it is. People should be able to see what is happening and be able to judge for themselves and not see what the journalist wants them to see.
2-I think it would be more acceptible to alter fashion photographers than news photographers becasue fashion photographers are more prefossional in making pictures and attract the viwers. But news photographers try to state a fact to the viwers.
3-Kate didnt like the use of Photoshop to alter images because she thinks they are unnatural and dislikes being portrayed as something other than herself.
